We love to make happy Maui vacations happen. But these past few months under quarantine have been a bit lonely. Everything started to change on October 15th. Travelers can now avoid Hawaii’s 14-day quarantine with a negative COVID-19 test. So we are sending out a big Aloha to you, and all the visitors that have already arrived on Maui. We’d like to re-introduce you to a few of the things that inspire us in our work every day.
First, there is our beautiful island. stunning isn’t she? These are the West Maui Mountains. In the foreground you can see the shallow reef, excellent for snorkeling and scuba diving.
At the edge of a fun town, you can find your own paradise. This little sweet spot for two below is located at Kihei Beach Resort in South Maui. Then there are the golden sand beaches. This next shot was taken in front of Kealia Resort in Kihei. Kealia is the first resort as you come into South Maui. With no neighbors to the West, you have an unobstructed view down miles of golden sand beach, all the way to Ma’alaea Harbor.
And speaking of Ma’alaea, look at this quaint fishing village! Complete with a small boat harbor and village with restaurants, shops, and the world class Maui Ocean Center aquarium, Ma’alaea is the jewel of the central coast. Destination Maui Vacations has 7 resorts available in this area.
Moving along up the coast, you will arrive in Lahaina on Maui’s West side. Here you’ll find another spectacular harbor, where you can catch a commercial charter and go fishing, on a sunset sail, or snorkeling charter.
During the winter (now!) you can see majestic Pacific Humpback Whales up close.
