Kealia Resort 105

Absolutely love the units location compared to the other ones. Stayed here several times. Quiet building and beautiful beach being right there. Just think the unit needs updating in several ways.

Looked good online, even better in person. Perfect (quiet) location with magnificent views.Very comfortable and well appointed. Especially loved the lanai, with bonus grasspatch. Resort has a lovely pool, and lots of greenspace. Ample parking. Would definetly book again!

The Kealia Resort is a nice quiet location at the north end of chain of resorts spanning down Kihei road.

The Sugar beach is in your backyard which you can stroll along the soft white sand or just sit and relax in the beach chairs provided in the unit.

Close by is an ABC Store, Sugar Beach Bake Shop(The Malasadas there are excellent), and Ululani's Hawaiian Shaved Ice.

Grocery stores and restaurants are a 5-10min drive down Kihei Rd.


The unit was nice and roomy, comfy bed, AC, and a full kitchen. We ate breakfast daily out on the patio with the ocean as our backdrop. Be wary of the chicken that roam the outside, they will try to steal you breakfast if you're not paying attention.

The room has beach equipment that you can use. We only used the beach chairs and and umbrella, they were well used and probably should be replaced soon, but they served their purpose.

Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay!

We had an absolutely marvelous stay at our vacation rental property. The property was as described and directly on the beach. The management staff was easy to work with. The extra addition of towels, beach chairs, noodles etc. made it much easier to enjoy our time instead of shopping and thinks we couldn’t take home.

This was the second time we’ve stayed at the Kealia Resort. We love it here. It’s safe, we just have to walk out the door to the pool or the beach, it’s clean and quiet and in our mind it’s perfect. Apartment 105 was perfect. The only bad part was that we had to leave early because of Covid19. It cut our stay here too short. We so hope that we can return again, when the world returns to some kind of normalcy. Sherry is so helpful and we so appreciated receiving a refund because our stay being shortened was out of our control. It’s a wonderful place to stay. Thank you.

Pictures are very accurate, The beach and gentle wave breaks are right off the back deck. Lots of restaurants within close driving distance. Adequately stocked condo unit, and a very relaxing stay!

1 Con - The resident property manager, in my opinion, goes over and beyond enforcing the mask regulation. You can’t sit at the pool with any distance restricting without being told to “put your mask on”

Perfect location,right on the water. Our unit 105 is doable but definitely needs to be updated. Nothing has changed for awhile. Has a nice lania overlooking the ocean. The management folks are very helpful and nice

Home Away From Home

This is our go to place twice a year. We love Maui and the Kealia Resort. We have been coming to the Kealia for years and we see many of the folks here when we come. The management team is the best and guests are friendly. We used to stay in other properties in Maui but as I said we love this place the best.

Maui vacation rental at Kealia resort was amazing. Enjoy supper out your patio and watch the sunset and listen to the sound of the waves. Just steps away from the beach. The newly renovated bathroom is very senior friendly as it has bars in the shower and a raised tiolet seat. The property was always very clean. The manager and maintenance man provided great customer service.

Up to and making reservations was great and people were very easy to work with. we appreciated this help very much. What put a damper on the whole vacation is when the facility put swimming pool access restrictions while we were there. Our family of kids and adults couldn't swim after 5:00 pm or from 12-1. This was not family friendly. There were no compromises. We feel we need to receive some monetary return as we would NOT have reserved the Kealia Resort for family vacation. This is what the manager and elderly people need to understand - noisey children are not bad children. Old people can have their sunsets and balcony evening wine even when the kids - supervised mind you - are playing in the pool. The whole experience was so upsetting. A person there said they have owned a condo for over 30 years and never experienced such a thing. So, what should have been an absolute happy wonderful family holiday became very sad. Destination Maui needs to advertise that children are not welcome.

Room 105

Great location. Private lanai was wonderful. Bed was very comfortable. Sherry helped me find a book that I left in September. Roger helped us with the TV. Had a fantastic time. Hope to come back soon.

Opening the patio door and having the ocean view and the sound of crashing wasves with ocean breese says it All. Kealia resort is in a Great location and is central to everything. Love It...

The sign in the kitchen says, "Welcome to our Little Grass Shack" and that's the sentiment stepping into this lovely 1BR well located, completely furnished, nicely decorated Condo with extraordinary ocean views and direct beach/pool access. The Owners and staff at the Kealia Resort provided for an excellent, welcoming, very much appreciated 12 day stay. ALOHA was everywhere. Furnishings. Towels/Bedding. Decorations. Kitchen. Bath. Washer/Dryer. The abundance of conveniences made everyday naturally beautiful and comfortable.

I have been to this resort at least 10 times. I will never go any other place on Maui. It is peaceful, the view of the ocean is spectacular. The staff are so welcoming and make you feel at home. I have stayed in several different units and have not had a bad experience yet. <3
